Snowboarding in Lermoos (Part 1)

Wow, what a weekend! Konse, Key, Jasi, Hartmut and me were snowboarding (and skiing respectively, sigh) in Lermoos, Austria, over the last weekend and these two days are definitely among my best boarding days ever: absolutely fantastic weather, black powder slopes and 30 cm deep powder off the slopes.

After having real problems organizing a car last week, Jasi finally offered her (so much loved) Polo. I was privileged to drive, because Jasi didn't get much (any?) sleep the night before. Although otherwise expected (it was carnival weekend), we didn't catch up in a traffic jam as far as 20 km in front of our destination. Hehe, then we caught up and needed two more hours to get from Reute to Lermoos. However, we were on the slope at 10 am.

Konse and Key had less luck. They came from Ebersberg (nearby Munich) and caught up in a traffic jam almost since their departure. Eventually they arrived and we met them on the slope. So we spent the rest of the day pacing down the slopes, freeriding off the slopes and trying to jump (images will be added as soon as I will get them from Konse).

In the evening we went out for dinner, relaxed in our apartment's whirlpool and played Kniffle (which sucked a lot). Winning rule number one: the least motivated (Hartmut) wins! ;)

To be continued...
